Some Pre-Christmas Pictures

Decorating the Christmas tree.
And boy oh boy do we want to explore the tree with our hands.

My great friend Mary Catherine made this precious dress for Andie. Thanks MC!!

Is that not the cutest face you've ever seen!

And one with Copper. Getting them both to sit and look at the camera was quite a task. But after many shots, we got one!

C-L-E-M-S-O-N

Go Tigers! Darrell, Mom, Dad, John Edward, and Megan are all in Tampa at the ACC Championship game. Hopefully they will help pull the Tigers through. The game has just started and it is going to be a tough one. I hope they have fun either way.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Getting in the Christmas spirit. We've been decorating and buying presents, trying to get ready for Andie's first Christmas...I'm so excited!

Visitors

Our great friends Hannah and her little boy James came to visit and spend the night with us a couple of weeks ago. It was GREAT to catch up with her and see her precious boy.

Andie always loves to watch big kids, and was amazed by all that James could do.

Football Season Coming to an End

Andie and Copper sleeping in the car on the way to Clemson. So sweet.
Chillin with the boys.

Daddy's girl...waiting for game time.

Loving the tiger...and then not loving the tiger.

Andie's new favorite toy, a cup...any cup.

And we did make it to the State Fair this year. The corn dog and fries were delicious!! And Andie loved looking at all the "fair crazies."

What a Week!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was a little crazy and not really what I had in mind when I pictured Andie's first Thanksgiving. We had all of my family in town for the weekend, which was great. However, the Scott's managed to pass around a bug that started with me on Thursday and then moved on to Andie and Darrell on Friday. Andie had over a 103 fever Friday morning, so we had to make a trip to the doctor's office while Darrell fried turkeys feeling horrible all the while. So anyway, we ate Thanksgiving dinner in shifts and poor Darrell just went back to bed. Saturday everyone was feeling somewhat better so we all loaded up and headed into town for the football game (Darrell's mom was gracious enough to watch Andie all day for us). And we all know how the game turned out...congratulations Carolina fans! The rest of the week has not gotten better. Andie has had quite the upset stomach and got sick all over the place last night. Poor thing hasn't wanted to eat and just feels pitiful. Hopefully this yucky bug will pass on through quickly. Mom, Dad, Jed, and Darrell are all heading down to Tampa this weekend for the ACC Championship. Go Tigers!! I will post pictures soon, I promise.

Loving Our Cereal

It took us a little while, but Andie now loves to eat her cereal. We've even tried some applesauce and bananas and have been very successful. Thought these were cute pictures showing what a great eater our little girl is.

A Tooth!

Andie cut her first tooth this weekend! I was feeding her her cereal Sunday night and noticed the spoon wasn't sliding out of her mouth as easily as usual. I felt her lower gums with my finger, and what do you know, there was definitely something hard a sharp in there. :o) I was so excited, Andie just started laughing at me! Hopefully now the pain will start to subside and we will all sleep a little better...please pray it does!

The Tigers Beat FSU!

Zonked out with Mama G.
Loving playing with Aunt Megan!

Laughing and loving being in Clemson.

Clemson Girl, Best in the World!!
We got to see some of my girlfriends this weekend and their precious babies and families. It was great to see everyone...I can't believe I forgot my camera! Lisa was a great host and a big congratulations to Beth on her engagement!! The Tigers beat FSU 40 to 24!! Go Tigers!

Go Tigers!

Our Clemson Tigers beat Miami today in Overtime 40 to 37!! 5 Years ago, Darrell T. proposed on the evening we beat Miami at Miami also. It amazes me how much has changed and how our amazing life has evolved in 5 short years. I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband who works so hard in everything he does...including playing, being Daddy, being husband, and even cheering on his Tigers. He makes me smile every day and truly provides entertainment in the midst of the day to day grind. :o) What the future holds, I do not know, but I look forward to it with excitement and peace, knowing that not only is the Lord with us to guide and protect us, but that I have the most amazing husband to share it all with. Life is so good!

Hilarious, But Oh So Sweet!

While I was getting ready to go to the birthday party, Darrell and Andie were hanging out on the couch and when I came in, this is what I found. Poor thing was so tired she just fell asleep.

Happy Birthday Cooper!

May all of your wishes come true, Cooper.

Cooper is 3! We had a great time at Heathwood Park for his birthday party. Andie swung on the big kid swing and loved watching all the big kids playing. We had to get all bundled up because it was sooo cold.

Clemson Game

Uncle Jed was recognized before the game for being a part of ISAB.
All bundled up for the cold, rainy game. Go Tigers!

We love to hear Tiger Rag and watch the balloons float away in the sky and the team run down the hill! Although the weather was miserable, we had a great time watching the Tigers beat Wake Forest!

5 Months

So Sweet.

I'll take my paci any way I can get it!

...or my fingers.
Zonked out at the Rembert family reunion at beautiful Rembert Church.

Enjoying a beautiful morning on the porch with my granddaddy.

And I finally have some hair!! Can you see it? Mom spiked it into a mohawk and made Dad take a picture while I was getting a bath.

4 Month Photo Shoot

Ok, so I thought I'd try out being a photographer for a few minutes. How do they get the babies to cooperate? Well, I did get a few good pictures...these are some of my favorites. I can't believe our baby girl is getting so big. She is such a sweetheart and so much fun!

Please be praying for our family as we are fighting the flu. Baylis is getting over it and Andie hopefully is not getting it...the doctor prescribed her Tamiflu as prevention. And Darrell doesn't have it yet, however he is home early with a migraine (hopefully just a migraine and not a precursor to the nasty flu).
