The Nursery

Darrell worked so hard to paint the crib that was generously given to us by our cousin and her brother. Because we don't know yet whether the baby is a boy or a girl, we are going with a white and green theme. I just love it! It is just so sweet.

35 Weeks and Counting

I cannot believe that I only have 5 weeks (give or take) until we have a little baby in the house! Since I have been so horribly bad about updating this blog, I guess I'll fill you in on a litte of the pregnancy, although there's not much to say. I have been incredibly blessed with feeling great and little to no problems. If I had to list a problem, it would be heartburn, but my doctor was nice enough to give me something to get rid of it. :o) Now at 35 weeks, my big belly measures about 39 inches around. I think emotionally/hormonally I've done pretty well, however, Darrell may beg to differ. He has been amazing, though, in putting up with me and helping me out with everything. Our next task is to open up and install the car seats, so I will let you know how it goes. I have to thank all of my friends and family that have been so encouraging and supportive in sharing their clothes, baby stuff, advice, and answering questions about this big unknown. Although there are times when I am completely terrified, I am also so excited to bring a child into this world...one that Darrell and I can raise to serve and love the Lord and that will be loved and blessed by all of our amazing family and friends. This truly has been and will definitley continue to be an adventure.
