A Minnie Mouse Sighting

Last night we went to Boo at the Zoo with our friends The Clamps.  Andie was the cutest Minnie Mouse I've ever seen!  (but I guess I am a little bias :o)).  The Clamps were the gang from Jake and the Neverland Pirates!  The were just as cute as Minnie!

 Getting candy...this child LOVES candy!
 Going through the maze.
Mama and her Minnie Mouse!
Watching a magic show!  Ian even got to be the assistant!  Way to go Ian, you did great!
Looking at the Huge pumpkin and watching the train come around.
 Roasting marshmallows!  Thanks Mr. Luke!
And a special treat appearance...The Tigers!  Andie was SO excited to see him, she ran right up!  My big girl!

Fall Party at School

On Thursday, Andie's class had a Fall Party.  It was so cute.  They had snacks and got to decorate a cookie with candy corn and M&Ms.  They also got to put stickers on a paper pumpkin.  Andie had a blast!

Then the class got to go on a "pumpkin hunt."  Everyone found a pumpkin to take home.  It was too cute.  And I loved seeing Andie with her new friends from school.  It is a cute group.  They took some cute class pictures, but I didn't want to put pictures of other kids up.

(*ok, so I have to brag just a little...I made Andie's pants!  And a big shout out to my great friend Kathy for appliquing the shirt for me!  The outfit turned out great! I'm so excited about it.)

Andie says the darndest things...

Some funny things Andie has said:

"I can't abeve (believe) it!"

Andie - "Come sit Aunt Megan."
A. Megan - "I don't know if I'll fit.  My hiney's gotten bigger."
Andie - (looking at her hiney) "It is, it is bigger."
(sorry Aunt Megan, I had to share! and your hiney is perfect!)

Andie was sick this weekend so she and I drove back to Lexington Sat. morning before the game.  She was in the car saying bye to Darrell and said, "Daddy, I don't want to go home, I want to go to the ballgame."  Then a little ways down the road she told me, "Mama, I feel better, I feel better, let's go to the ballgame."

"Mama, can we have sleepover pizza for supper?"

She keeps us in stitches!

Rice Krispy Pumpkins!

Andie and I made Rice Krispy Treats with sprinkles in them and rolled them into little "pumpkins."  She loved doing it and is excited about sharing them at the Clemson game this weekend.  I just can't believe it's that time of year!

Homecoming

Homecoming weekend at Clemson is always extra fun.

Can you see Andie and I?  We are peeking through the left eye of the tiger!

 I love that precious face!

Virginia Tech

When Clemson played football at Virginia Tech a couple of weeks ago, all the "grown-ups" got to go up to Blacksburg.  We had a great time, despite the freezing and raining weather.  Megan went to VT, so we had a little family rivalry going. :o)

When Megan was in college, the whole fam went up one weekend to visit.  We took a picture of Megan, John Edward and I hanging from this tree...so, of course, we had to reinact it!

Va Tech is absolutely gorgeous! We only got a few pictures because it rained most of the weekend.

Singing in the Rain....Literally

Tiger Time

A couple of weeks ago, when Clemson played Florida State, we got to take a tour of the West Zone and Football facility.  It was great!  We got to see the amazing weight room, locker room, and even got to go out on the field.
The Scott family in Death Valley! (The players were doing walk-throughs in the background)
Not really sure what Bug was doing here! :o)  Posing I guess...too funny!
We also got to go to the Student Affairs Gala with our great friends, Bert and Hannah.  We had so much fun dressing up and spending time with friends.  These are some pre-gala pictures in the beautiful Clemson sunset.
Andie wanted in on the picture-taking too.
The weekend continued to be eventful with the attendance of my Aunt Gail, Uncle Terry, cousins, Katy, Matthew, Jay and their families.  It was a blast having everyone there.  As you can see, there were plenty of little ones having a big Clemson time!

They all got tiger paws on their faces and had to show them off (below)

I adore this great picture of Andie and one of her beautiful cousins Maya!
After the big win, we took Andie down on the field for the first time.  She couldn't wait to see a cheerleader up close, but then got all shy when she got the chance.  But we got a picture anyway.
 ...and with a Rallycat
...and with our friends Hannah and sweet Campbell!
The Scott family in Death Valley again!  (and I will have you know, those ears have been with me since college!)
To top off the amazing Clemson Tradition-filled weekend, Andie got to rub THE Rock for the first time!  Love it!  GO TIGERS!
